There’s something beautiful about the way a bulbul admires a flower… It doesn’t do anything extraordinary, it just sings in admiration for the phool.
Just like that we all have our flowers, our people. Those who we admire for their kindness, how they make ordinary moments special, or for simply being the person that they are.
Bulbul Co-Ords are a reminder that admiring someone doesn't mean that you need to do any big gestures. Rather it’s about noticing the details, the little things that make them, well, them.
An Ode to Makhdoom Mohiuddin
(Phir chhadi raat baat phoolon ki)
(Raat hai ya baraat phoolon ki)
(Phool ke haar phool ke gajre)
(Shaam phoolon ki raat phoolon ki)
(Aap ka saath saath phoolon ka)
(Aap ki baat baat phoolon ki)
(Nazrein milti hain jaam milte hain)
(Mil rahi hai hayaat phoolon ki)
(Kaun deta hai jaan phoolon par)
(Kaun karta hai baat phoolon ki)
(Mere dil mein suroor subah-e-bahaar)
(Teri aankhon mein raat phoolon ki)
(Phool khilte rahenge duniya mein)
(Roz niklegi baat phoolon ki)
(Yeh mehakti hui ghazal Makhdoom)
(Jaise sehra mein raat phoolon ki)
Translation
Then came the night of fragrant blooms,
A night that seemed a wedding of flowers' plumes.
Garlands and bracelets of blossoms fair,
An evening of flowers, perfumed air.
Your presence adorned by floral grace,
Each word you speak, a blooming embrace.
Eyes that meet, cups that collide,
Life intertwined with flowers’ tide.
Who lays down life for petals’ flight?
Who speaks of flowers with heartfelt might?
In my heart, the thrill of spring’s dawn,
In your eyes, the night where flowers are drawn.
Flowers will bloom for ages untold,
Stories of blossoms will endlessly unfold.
This fragrant verse of Makhdoom’s delight,
Like a desert enwrapped in a flowered night.
